My first tutorial! A simple one, but with great effects.

Made with photoshop CS 2
contains selective coloring, not translatable
(PSD included)
1. crop the picture and sharpen if necessary

2. duplicate the base and set to soft light (opacity 35%) (optinional)
3. duplicate the base and set to screen (opacity 25%)

4. ad a new adjustment layer --> color balance
midtones:
+11, 0, -24

5. ad a new fill layer with solid color #ffd266. Set to soft light (opacity 84%)

6. ad a new adjustment layer --> selective coloring
settings:
Reds -100, +100, -16, +14
Yellows -16. 0, -24, -10
Greens +100, -18, -100, +24
Cyans +100, -100, -100, -29
Whites +100, +100, -21, +17
Neutrals +21, +11, -7, +13

7. ad another new adjusment layer --> selective coloring
settings:
Reds -65, -5, 0, +16
Yellows +12, -18, 0, 0
Whites +100, -16, +1, 0

8. ad this texture and set to screen (opacity 100%) and flip horizontal

you're finished with the coloring! You can go further for the icon.
9. click on the top layer and press Ctrl+Shift+Alt+E then flip the layer horizontal.
10. cut with the polygonal lasso tool a piece fromt the head and drag the piece to the bottom, like this:

11. add this texture by

12. add a text if u like

and we're done!!
WARNING! You have to choose you pictures properly, best pictures are with some green and grey in it. (sober pictures)
